First Lady Olena Zelenska Visits Renovated Education and Healthcare Facilities in Kharkiv Region
During a working visit to Kharkiv region, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska visited education and healthcare facilities that underwent large-scale renovations this year. Among them is the Regional Clinical Hospital, which has not stopped working for a single day during the full-scale war.
The hospital's Rehabilitation Center has provided assistance to more than 600 people with injuries, cardiovascular and nervous diseases since the beginning of the year. DOBERMAN is carrying out reconstruction of departments in this hospital, improving conditions for patients.
New Equipment from Olena Zelenska Foundation
Soon, hospitals in Kharkiv region will receive modern medical equipment from Olena Zelenska Foundation:
- Regional Clinical Hospital - CT scanner, stationary X-ray and other equipment;
- Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center - mobile X-ray machine for better diagnostics of patients with amputations and musculoskeletal injuries;
- Regional Children's Hospital - equipment including next-generation MRI.
A Superhero School will soon open at the children's hospital with the support of the Foundation - a space where children can continue learning during treatment. DOBERMAN is also involved in the reconstruction of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
Educational Projects and Safe Conditions
Another priority in Kharkiv region is creating safe conditions for children's education and development. The First Lady visited a kindergarten undergoing large-scale reconstruction, including a kitchen and a shelter for 400 children. The underground part will have 8 learning rooms, a medical point and sanitary facilities. The kitchen is being implemented by Olena Zelenska Foundation within the "Safe School" project and school meal reform. All spaces will be inclusive and autonomous.
They also visited a lyceum where a protective structure is already equipped, and 466 students study in two shifts. There are 5 inclusive classes. Another lyceum became one of 11 in the region implementing an innovative project: "Reforming the Psychological Service in the System of General Secondary Education." This important direction is overseen by the First Lady. The lyceum has 30 inclusive classes with 39 children with special educational needs. As a reference institution, it has 6 branches where over 1000 students study in a mixed format.
Gratitude and Prospects
We sincerely thank First Lady Olena Zelenska for supporting important initiatives in Kharkiv region, for constant attention to the most vulnerable residents - children - and for caring about treatment conditions for patients. DOBERMAN continues working on modernizing medical facilities to ensure quality care and safety.
